CHRIS E THOMAS Sydney based session singer 'live' and 'studio' (11 years experience in this capacity.) Currently on HOLIDAYS from touring with Adam Brand (2009 CCMA Male Vocalist of the Year!) Backing Vocals and a Black Maton Guitar. Also currently promoting 'The Sheila Sessions' with Kate Ballantyne and Beccy Cole. The Girls Are Back In Town!. A multi-instrumentalist/songwriter and artist in her own right, her instruments are violin, piano, mandolin, guitar, accordion and vocals. She has toured and recorded with virtually all Australian contemporary music artists and bands both nationally and internationally (there is far too many of them to include in this bio!) including appearances at every major music festival and many TV appearances. 2008 finished with her contribution to the Baz Lurhman film 'Australia' and in 2009, she will be touring globally including Asia, USA and Europe. |

Venue:: Licensed Club ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR TOURING BANDS from Sydney: Its blues to cabarock... from their Aussie flavoured 'blues of opinion' originals to blues/rock 'legend' song classics. You'll enjoy this funky rhythm and blues band, who plays a wide range of crowd grabbing standards, peppered with provocative originals. The Band is made up of seasoned professional performers with innumerable recording and Major Tour credits, the Band has been performing for six years and in that time they have produced 4 CDS and are currently working on the fifth. Finn have performed at almost every major blues festival in Australia and are constantly touring the country. Finn went to Memphis to compete in the IBC in Feb. 2005. The band features: Vocalist/drummer Jim Finn with his fabulous deep resonating voice, SLINKY PETE sits in the pocket on bass, and tasty guitarist Paul Surany is also doing some backing vocals. |
